As property owners ourselves, we view every assignment as if it were owned by edison47.

LINDY HARVEY -Senior Vice President

Lindy is the managing broker and Senior Vice President of edison47.  With over 30 years of experience in national suburban and high barrier markets, Lindy is skilled in all aspects of multifamily portfolio management.   Having come to edison47 managing large portfolios of up to 4000 units in multiple states and oversight of previous property management firms, Lindy provides multi-level operational experience.  As a Portfolio Manager for national companies such as AvalonBay, Simpson Housing, JPI, Western National Group, Conam, CapReit and RREEF, her knowledge in lease-up as well as re-positioning of assets for maximum income growth provides a wide and varied level of leadership to the team.  The financial and operational requirements of a REIT environment are very detailed, and strict accountability must be maintained to maximize profitability. It was in this environment that Lindy was recognized for highest national quarterly performance 3 times in one year. In addition to conventional market knowledge, Lindy has also managed affordable housing, mixed use and commercial.


Carolyn has been with edison47 (previously Rush Properties multifamily division) for 5 years, as Assistant Controller for The Rush Companies, maintaining the lead accounting responsibility for the multi-family division.  In that role, Carolyn is responsible for the property financial statements, general ledger, tax compliance cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting control and various financial analysis. Overseeing the accounting AP staff, Carolyn has provided direction for day-to-day operational support of the on site management along with short and long term forecast preparation for the department supervisors and ownership.  Carolyn was recruited for the edison47 Controller role due to her leadership qualities in providing accurate financial accountability and prompt follow-through in all aspects of reporting to ownership, banking and agency identities.

JERED LERUM -Director of Business Development

Jered heads up the Business Operations and Development division specializing in the implementation of multiple industry leading software platforms. Among those is Yardi software; considered to be the premier property management software system for real estate operations.  Responsible for integration of portal applications, industry software for screening, lease optimization, utility billing, collections and social media, Jered provides a strong foundation for financial accountability and customer capture.   All aspects of inter-office operations includes oversight of site computer software, equipment maintenance, AV systems and communications.  Jered coordinates directly with the accounting team to assure systems are integrated correctly to optimize record-keeping and live data.  Jered also serves as a consultant to commercial construction for multi-family projects in multiple areas, including but not limited to, communications, I.T. systems, fitness equipment and property access control systems. Jered maintains quality of equipment, customer application and reliability of all these systems and platforms.

Jamie askin -Director of Business operations

As Director of Business Operations, Jamie brings a wealth of organization and efficiency to the edison47 team. With over 20 years of human resource and payroll experience, construction and real estate development experience, and years of accounting with Rush Companies, she provides a breadth of knowledge that allows her to easily fill a number of roles. She insures that edison47 is constantly improving project management strategies in order to deliver the highest value to our clients, owners and partners. Her experience makes her uniquely qualified to oversee hiring processes, provide project management support and manage corporate budgeting practices, and help the edison47 team operate efficiently.  

Tom Dodson- Regional Portfolio Manager

Tom comes to edison47 from the MG Properties Group located in San Diego as a Regional Manager of 8 properties totaling 1850 units.  Having been an Asset Manager for 22 properties in 11 states, his diversified experience has focused on re-positioning of poor performing properties, stabilizing income growth and lease-up of Class A properties. Tom was also in a position to oversee the third-party management operations while at Alliant Real Estate Investments. In this role, he was able to gain a perspective of ownership and investment strategies, providing insight to maximizing profitability in multi-family assets. In all aspects of daily operation, Tom’s attention to financial responsibility and cost control is evident in high performance in year-over-year NOI growth. 

JOANNE MENDENHALL - engagement & Training Manager

Training at edison47 is varied and extensive in order to maintain the highest standard of experience and customer service. Joanne Mendenhall has worked for CLASS, a nationally recognized apartment leasing company that focuses on occupancy strategies and leasing training.  Joanne was assigned to over 25 communities throughout the country, representing CLASS for a large number of investment ownership and management companies.  Her expertise in marketing, communication, team building, training and fair housing allows for consistent access to training in multifamily skill set, agency and law requirements while maintaining current updates to improve performance of the staff members. Joanne is responsible for ensuring that the structured training program at edison47 is adhered to and followed up for performance results.
